Misions
The NUTRISAM group has as its main objectives:
1. The study of the frequency and distribution of health problems, their risk factors (nutritional status, behaviors and eating habits, physical activity, air pollution and exposure to toxins, stress, mental health, gender , the socio-economic environment ...), and its impact on mental health.
2. A better knowledge of the molecular, biochemical and cellular mechanisms involved in the etiopathogenesis of mental illnesses and associated disorders.
3. The promotion of health and optimal neurodevelopment, the prevention of diseases and mental disorders and the development of new interventions to change behaviors, life habits, etc. and the improvement of social contexts related to public health and mental well-being.
