Misions

• The main lines of research in the area of neurology are based primarily on clinical research, observational studies, epidemiological and quality of life, and phase III clinical trials on new drugs aimed at treating patients with multiple sclerosis, disorders conduct or cerebrovascular disease. The fundamental aims sleep:
  
  - Investigate in the efficiency and security of new drugs with the treatment
  of the multiple scleroses.
  - Study the adherència and the living quality of the patients with
  the treatment of epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, demència and cognitive
  ruin, as well as cerebral vascular pathology.
  - Study the adherència and the living quality of the patients with cerebral
  vascular pathology.
  - Investigate in the efficiency and security of new drugs (secondary
  prevention, treatment of the cognitive ruin, depression,
  recovery neurològica and functional) in patient neurològics.
  - Analyse the progression of cognitive alterations, demències type
  Alzheimer, .. By means of the test neuropsicològic and the magnetic
  resonance.
  - Investigate the biomarcadors related with the progression of the
  illnesses neurològiques.
• The principal investigators are physicians Neurology Unit in collaboration with primary care physicians in the health area, resident physicians, neuropsychologists, the nursing team and the support of a research coordinator.
• Recently, we are consolidating our own research lines in the above fields and actively collaborates with other national projects centers that have obtained external funding.
