Scope

1.- BD Biosciences is committed to supporting the evolving field of cancer research through its cancer research grants. A total of $100,000 worth of research reagents are awarded annually to 10 scientists. Through the grant program, BD Biosciences supports scientists pursuing innovative ideas in cancer research, helping to define the next generation of scientific breakthroughs.

2.- BD Biosciences immunology research grants provide vital funding to scientists pursuing innovative ideas that advance the scientific understanding of disease.
A total of $140,000 worth of BD Biosciences research reagents are awarded annually to 14 scientists. Through the grant program, BD Biosciences works to support innovation in research and development, helping to define the next generation of scientific breakthroughs.
 

Requirements

Only one grant application per research laboratory. Grants are awarded to the institution affiliated with the research lab and individual grant applicant.

Deadline

Cancer grants: July 31, 2015 (Winter 2015 Award Cycle) - January 31, 2016 (Summer 2016 Award Cycle)
Immunology grants: October 31, 2015 (Spring 2016 Award Cycle)

The application process is simple. Just write an abstract (850 words maximum), review and accept the program terms and conditions, complete the online application, and submit.

Founding

Duration

Grant funds must be depleted within three years of award acceptance.
