The University Hospital of Tarragona Joan XXIII develops a program to improve memory in patients with chronic pain.

This initiative has emerged that one of the problems of such patients is the perception of suffering losses as memòria.Tal said the psychologist of the Pain Unit of the Hospital Joan XXIII, Antoni Castel, the memory deficits are common in patients with chronic pain and are usually concerned about something. The program, funded by the Caixa Sabadell Foundation, aims to improve the perception of chronic pain patients about their own cognitive skills and quality of life.
