- In the field of cardiovascular disease, the group works in clinical studies on ischemic heart disease, kidney failure, heart failure and hypertension.
- In the field of heart failure, the group focuses its activities on the study of biological and clinical markers of sudden death.
- In the field of kidney failure, the group devotes its activities to:
a) the study of cognitive impairment and its relationship to the presence of cerebral white matter injury.
b) the study of oxidative stress and administration intravenous iron in patients with predialysis chronic renal failure.
