European Research Programme: Innovative Approaches for the Treatment of Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes

EFSD and Sanofi have established this partnership to encourage new projects aimed at advancing current knowledge in this domain. To achieve the goals and objectives of this Programme, EFSD and Sanofi invite applications by issuring this "Request for Applicaitons" (RFA) which indicates joint funding as well as areas of research emphasis. The Programme is intended to stimulate and accelerate European basic and clinical research focusing oninnovative approaches to treat type 1 and/or type 2 diabetes through increased understanding of the underlying pathophysiological processes.
