EFSD and Sanofi have established a new partnership called the EFSD/Sanofi Programme for Collaborative Clinical Diabetes Research between European and Non-European Countries to initiate and strengthen the collaboration between European clinical research and researchers in rapidly developing countries where clinical research is approaching the standard of international excellence which would particularly benefit from the collaboration with and access to the leading research institutes in Europe.
