Cytometry and Cell Sorting Facility

The platform has a FACS Aria III (BD) system. This technology has applications in analyzing flow cytometer and particle separator and high-speed and resolution cells. The current configuration has 4 lasers with a total of 18 fluorochromes.

Flow cytometry is a technique for multiparametric analysis of particles, such as cells , by suspending them in a stream of fluid and passing them through a LASER.

The analysis software is FACSDiva (BD).
