1 START NETWORKING: MATCHING A SUPERVISOR WITH A RESEARCHER

Remember that competences, experience and complementarity between supervisor and researcher are a key factor to develop an MSCA.

If you are a PI: Send an email to your European and international contacts, offering your group as a host institution. Contact upi(ELIMINAR)@iispv.cat to explore how best to look for candidates.

 If you are a postdoc: Send an email to the institutions that you are interested to work with. Remeber that an MSCA IF is a great opportunity to secure your own funding to support your research, training and future career development.

2 Choose the TYPE OF ACTION that fits you best 

 Standard Fellowship: Open to Experienced Researchers wishing to carry out a fellowship at a European host organisation. The researcher must adhere to the standard Mobility Rule (no+12/3).

 Career Restart Panel: Open to Experienced Researchers re-starting their research career at a European host organisation after being inactive in research for 12 months or more. The researcher must adhere to the Relaxed Mobility Rule (no +36/5).

 Reintegration Panel: An option for European Experienced Researchers (or long term residents) previously active in research in Europe who seek to return to carry out a fellowship at a European host organisation. The researcher must adhere to the Relaxed Mobility Rule (no+36/5).

 Society and Enterprise Panel: Specific for Experienced Researchers who wish to carry out a fellowship outside of academia, e.g., in a company or an NGO or a museum etc. The researcher must adhere to the Relaxed Mobility Rule (no+36/5).

 Global Fellowships: European Experienced Researchers (or long term residents) moving from Europe (a Member State or Associated country) to a country outside, followed by a return period back in Europe. The researcher must adhere to the standard Mobility Rule (no+12/3). The duration of the projecte is from 24 to 36 months (including a mandatory 12-month reintegration period back to Europe after the completion of the outgoing stay). 

3 START TO WRITE THE PROPOSAL EARLY 

The International Projects Unit provides advice and support on preparing applications.

The text of your proposal is the only opportunity you have to convince the evaluators that they should invest in your work. However, there are strict regulations in what needs to be included in each section. Make sure you don't wait until your project is finalised before you get in touch with us. 

The dealine of receiving complete proposals, and provide you with feedback is 15 July 2019.
