Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer Research

Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer, Inc. (WOKC) is a Dallas-based nonprofit organization founded in 1980 dedicated to raising awareness and funding pediatric cancer research on a national basis. WOKC’s mission is to work relentlessly for the day when all children are living cancer free.

Research Grants are offered to encourage the development of new information that contributes to the understanding, treatment, and cure of pediatric cancers. In addition, consideration will be given to those projects that provide insight into information that may contribute to the development of new therapies for pediatric cancers. All proposals must be hypothesis driven, and sufficient preliminary data must be provided to justify the WOKC support. Information derived from these studies should have high potential for sustainable future support from other funding agencies, such as the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
