Nanonica Prize 2013

NANONICA believes in the current mature and productive Nanotechnology which is infinitely large in possibilities and has an enormous growth potential. NANONICA is awarding a prize in nanotechnology in order to enhance the translation of this potential into reality. NANONICA is awarding prizes in two categories: Breakthrough of the year and Best applied proposal.

Objecte

Breakthrough of the year. The breakthrough of the year in different fields of nanotechnology will be chosen by a scientific committee chaired by Prof. Dr. Victor Puntes with researchers from all fields of nanotechnology. It will be chosen from a shortlist (about 100) provided by Nanonica selected from the most significant scientific publications on the field of nanotechnology. The expert opinion of the committee members will choose the winning contribution.

Best applied proposal. Best innovative project in the field of industrial applications of nanotechnology to be submitted by researchers (not institutions) employed in public or private, national or international, universities and technology and research center and private companies.
